what an anarchic post modern pastiche. A living still life labelled and colonised by the language of another- which could also be interpreted as a challange to capitalism or two fingers to the instabilty of meaning??! Man.

Would you take twenty euro? Ah go on?

Niamh, so glad you "got" it. It took us a long time to perfect the mood of oppression and embarrassed "leave me alone while I sleep"-ness portrayed in this piece just using the subject's body language and eyebrow placement. It was an exhausting endeavour, but I think we got there in the end.
I hear twenty euro, any advances on twenty euro now?!....

Oh, my little heart flipped over.
I am not refined.

Ah Titus, what you lack in refinedness you make up for in cute wirey haired enthusiasm!

Dear Niamh: do I need bottle bottomed glasses already? What's it say on the pooch! I just got a black pooch for Christmas! So sweet! We'll do launch!

I would hang a large print of this in the great room next to the Magritte.

Ce chien n'est pas en vente.

She looks lovely asleep! Is she resting for her role as 'Toto' in the musical version of The Wizard of Oz?
