Where you'll find us

This evening, performing live, several of the Poetry Bus trippers will be - to be found - inside in the international bar... we'll be reading favourites from Soundings too, (our Leaving Cert poetry book - and first acquaintance with serious poetry for alot of us) (well ok, for me anyway).

You don't have to actually be there in person to throw tomatoes though, oh no, thanks to the magic of the universe and the high tech gadgetary of the genius Stephen James whose talents know no bounds, you should hopefully find us online, stuck in the tendrils of the sticky world wide web, at least for a couple of hours.

Tune in at some stage, (though there is no stage, or mic, or lights - but I like the lack of lights - kinda flattering)

anyway - here's the link - see ye then then

Oh and who you'll find there - apart from myself?

Well there'll be TotalFeckinEejit, Emerging Writer, P Nolan, Uiscebot, and many many more....

Can you really live with yourself if you miss it? Can you? Really?

I got there late! And missed everybody I knew! But the online audience were a gas...

better late than never - it's always a great night, well worth the tune in I'd say.

Nice to meet you again Niamh, on another evening chock-full of readings. We might actually have a conversation next time :-)

Ah No Padhraig, let's not ruin it!! :-)

Great to see you reading. Enjoyed your bathroom poem, reminded me too much of my own bathroom.

I was there for 90% of it and, as Titus says, it was a gas! We, the onliners have christened ourselves The Poetry Bus Refugees and we will be meeting every Monday night from now on at the live stream.
God, isn't the internet wonderful?!

Great to see you, Niamh and Padhraig and Kate and Colm and Doris (we'll have to fill you in on Doris; she now has her own FB page btw).

(I sound a bit like that lady from Romper Room now, don't I?)

We really missed Peadar, but his letter was fab.

I think I missed Doris?! I left at the break, being a boring sensible good for nothing.
Yes twould have been super to have Peadar there in person, nice to know he was watching though.
I do tune in from time to time online but haven't so far mastered the signing in to chat, will have to figure that out some time so I can join the fugees.

Thanks TFE, glad to hear you were there in spirit anyway, was sad not to see you on the night!
