Tree Poem

Yeh, distant cousins is very funny, but also poignant in some strange way.A great poem.One of your best methinks.

Like this, and I love the way you've made the tree almost conscious - all the active verbs, the familial (or not) relationships and the severed limbs. Last stanza a knock-out.

MAF's wife and mother to very young emerging poet (very young as mother still considers herself as young) says congrats on the great idea and even higher congrats on carrying it off.
MAF's household has gone mad blogging with littleones greeting me at the door as I return from work saying "Mom come here and you see the comments MAF's daughter is getting on her poem / his blog" Poem in shop month is certainly making memories in our wee house in Galway....
