Drama Queen on the Radio

A Sneak peek inside the studio:

Ok not really.

This morning's guest is Drama Queen, who has oodles of radio experience, is an inspiration, great to talk to, and a brilliant writer, so we're in good hands.

I, meanwhile, am trying my very best to get nervous about Monday night's Glór session to diminish the nerviosity that I'm currently feeling about the show.

The long awaited podcast of my first mortifying leap into live radio is here now.

Hi EW - I am indeed - marks my first ever mention in the poetry Ireland e newsletter! That'd be cool if you can make it.

TFE - thanks a mill - jeez there were some amount of bloopers, but DQ was a dream first guest to have. Glad you enjoyed it.

Isn't Various a great Radio Host? Lovely voice, well prepared with well thought out script and cool in the face of every challenge. Congratulations and thanks for including me.

Thanks Drama Queen, I'll be over with that fiver shortly.

(-: and I'll take that comment as fully contractually obliging confirmation that your soothing influence, brilliant reading skills, and great writing material will be back on the show again sometime!! That's if they let me stay on that long :-)

And 2.50 of that is to go to your sound engineer by the way.

Studio bods very pleased with the show who were listening in on the stream. They'll definitely keep you!
The 'obsession' text you got about me was referring to my alleged penchant for M. Nicolas Sarkozy (about which I'd completely forgotten, poor man). (Nothing to do with his policies for France, I might add.)

Wish I could have heard it! I'm sure it was incisive and eloquent.

Hey Jessica - you're only 6 hours ahead, if you log on next Sunday at 5pm (your time) and go to the live webstream (link below my blog roll) you'll catch the show starring Domestic Oub... then you can judge for yourself, (that's if you have nothing better to do of a Sunday at 5pm!!) Someday there will be podcasts... so you'll be able to listen at your convenience.
