My Dog ate my Durcan

Yes, the unsupervised terrior's poet of choice to chew over is Paul Durcan - tests have proven.

What? You're bored with the bad dog stories?

OK then - you can click here to hear my special effects poem, another in my wobbly voice wonderland recorded at the Brown Bread mixtape, if you want...

Maybe you should punish the dog by reading her some Gerard Manley Hopkins or later stage Yeats (or insert your least favourite poetry here...) Then maybe she'd appreciate who she was chewing on!

Hmm... or maybe this was an intellectual cry for help! She wants you to read good poetry to her!

Yep, you've got to say she's showing good taste.

I'm sorry I can't listen, but clicking anything at the moment is making my computer shut down. A replacement is slowly, allegedly, making its way to us...

Seriously. We got Bosco who was wired to the moon.He entered the house and did a wall off death routine round the walls and then vomitted all over the carpet. He want bald savage at very other living dog. He even fought himself, literally biting himself. He chased his tail like a demon, attacked himself at food time, leapt like a speed merchant at everything, chewed everything, went savage and beserk and then beserk and savage.(we're still finding teethmarks) He drove us to the verge of insanity in a bright yellow Lamborghini Guillardo at 120 miles an hour at night in the pitch dark with the lights off. In short we loved him, but couldn't cope.Brought him back and got Mollie the collie, who is a dote.

Think it was the hard cover that won her heart really...
Titus - good luck with the new computer! you won't know yourself when it arrives.
Ach TFE - I'm not giving up on her that quick - I have 3 more dog school lessons paid for! She does chase her tail, and does try to get into lively and engaging conversation with other dogs, but overall she's a good little monster deep down, and she provides much blog fodder...sure we'll give it another while anyway.

Bad dog stories are the best ones! My cat has taken a fancy to cardboard, but so far disdains my books.

Thanks Uisce - it's a love it or hate it or feel apathetic to it kinda poem.
Thanks Watercats! Me too - re stating the obvious. If you listen to my radio shows, it's pretty much stating the obvious one end to another.
Thanks NanU - yes, she's bould as brass, my mother rings me up every day for the latest bold dog story, I usually have one for her. Hard to believe she's only here a week today.

My cat prefers our Autocad manual; she likes something a bit drier.
