she's here

So, new baba has arrived safe and sound and is now just over a week old.

She is great.  I'm not just saying that as her mother... everyone I've met in the last week has also confirmed it. Big brother, Danger cushions, is proving a great help, though his expectations of her are quite stretching, he was hoping she'd have learned to talk by now...
Anyone with advice on how to cope with having two bosses, please let me know!!

Best of luck. In my experience, in the long run, it's easier than having one. Yes there's that horrible phase when the older one pokes the younger one in the eye etc when you're not looking but then it all levels out and they amuse each other which takes the pressure off. All my children are in their 20s now. It's great - and great to know that unlike me (I'm an "only child") they've got each other.

Thanks a mill Niamh, it's so easy in some ways and then again yes kinda hard in others, but overall really enjoying the time out with them.

Congratulations! Not to harp on a theme, but what are you calling her?

Hi Bug - I think I'll have to go with Danger's suggestion which was "Monkey Boots" :-)
