Two wrongs?

You know when you have one sock on, and then you realise the sock you already have on is on inside out and assuming you also hold the match to the sock in your other hand (and it happens to be turned the right way around for applying to the foot)..... what would you do?
Do you
 (A) - just put the second sock on the right way and get on with your day
or
 (B) - turn the second sock inside out so that it will match?.................

There're no other options that I'm missing out on are there?

A! who's looking at my socks anyway?

Definitely A. People I used to work with had a daily pool betting on whether my socks 1) were both on right-side-out, 2) were both on inside-out 3) were one of each, and 4) even matched.

I'm glad that removing the already-on sock and fixing it was not offered as an option, as that would be simply ridiculous.

I'm afraid I just wouldn't notice if I'd done this or not. I might just realise if they were od, which they often are.

Are you people all mad??? You must, and I stress, MUST, remove the already-on sock, correct it, put it back on and then - only then! - continue with second sock.

This is the only way.

Only way.

Domestic Oub...Yes! It's the only way. Nobody else might look at my socks, but I would know...and it would drive me crazy.

Howling! Thank God, sanity pervails!

Yeah, I don't think of myself as particularly anal, but I would have to fix it or I wouldn't be able to stand myself.

Also, this is important - DO NOT LOLLYGAG in putting the second sock on! There should be no more than 10 seconds of a socked and unsocked foot - I can't stand it otherwise!

Lollygag? Today I learnt a new word.

NanU - depends if you're wearing sandals with them!
Yep - A is correct Acorn, just checking.
Dominic some of my pairs are in fact half pairs that lost their sole mates in the past.
Oub, Howling and Bug - I thought I knew ye...

There is reason for things being the right way around-I'm sure of it. Sock 1 wud have to be fixed, doubt I'd even wait to see if sock 2 was right or wrong- the point is getting them right god damn it:) I'm wit Oub, Howling and Bug!

Ah Louise - was hoping as a sock expert you'd have backed my side

That's bad enough, but don't you hate it when one foot is on back-to-front and a similar dilemma ensues?

that's the worst - you'd be going around in circles all day!
